Ironic game!

Post by cliff » Wed Apr 15, 2009 12:15 am

Just looking over some old games, and came across one I had forgotten about. Certainly not what I'd call a tactical masterpiece, I just think the game is kind of ironic given my opponent's username. It seems to speak for itself! Here's the game:

:lol:

(My post-game analysis didn't take to long...) :wink:

I was leading an OTB event and went into the last round and knew that if I drew I would get money and my opponent would too. I had a really bad migraine at this point and played e4 and offered a draw.

He thought about it. Went and looked at the wall chart and calculated the money.. came back and accepted. (o;

Another interesting game!

Here's a game from a tournament I was in recently.

I didn't change the names or the players, nor "x" them out, because they're far better players than this would indicate. I just look upon this game as 'one of those things that can happen to anybody', so I hope everyone can have a chuckle and say "Hey, reminds me of a game I had", and enoy it!
