General chess question

Post by trifoniusbronstein » Tue Jul 28, 2009 3:38 am

Isn't it possible to become a bigger, brown board, wich is is my opinion more relaxing for the eyes. It was my intention to play only 5 games (a question of free time) and I mentionned this in my settings: 5 games, 5 days/move ,rating between 1400 & 1800 ( I suppose1400- 1700 is better)but after two days nothing happened, I became unpatient and started random to challenge two players, now I came into a tournament with 2 players from about 1850 elo and 10 above 2000 !! Of course I'll loose all of this games, I will go on but in fact is this to much( 14 games ) for me, but I would like to ask someone what I'll have to do in the futur. Many thanks for your answer. Kind reagards,Herman

You probably want to set it up for 6 players, 1 game each. Rating 1400-1700/1800 if you set it for 5 games, it did 5 games per player.

Better I think would be to do 4 players with 2 games each and you get 6 games

Starting time of 10 days, with 5 days per move.. that is very slow for most people so you might not have many bites.
