Used to be,but not much point at the moment. Work 6 days a week usually. Can't get to any tournaments & can't even get to the post office reliably enough to indulge in postal chess (was a pretty decent & improving postal player at one point). This sites about the only chess I get in these days...& I reeeaaaly need to start slowing the heck down & working on playing more betterer & less fasterer... :D

On a side note, sorry I haven't been real communicative lately. I no longer have internet access at work so not able to get on as much. Been a nice break from Islanderfan though...

Postal Chess started to die when USPS went 'private' and the postage always went up right as you saved enough to get a sheet of new stamps.
So we all have to play internet chess here and put up with all the riff-raff like islanderfan, you, me, etc, etc... LOL

Played one (1!) tournament game at the Marshall Chess Club, after someone skipped the last round, and had to become a member to be allowed to play.

... too political and opinionated for my money.
I can get straight chess info online at many sites...
- or I can just ask islanderfan.
