What happened to Rating History, Greg?

Post by cliff » Mon Jun 06, 2016 11:02 am

Hi Greg,

What's going on with both the 'Main Page' and the 'Rating History' page???

For a start, the main page is now a narrow panel in the middle of my screen? This has been like this for a few days now.

Now today, I see my 'Rating History' has vanished!!!

Good Lord, I see by your announcement that you're making some adjustments to make it appear better on 'mobile devices', but there are still some of us here who don't use those damn things, for various reasons. Desktops and laptops do still exist, and some of us prefer them!

Just hoping you can take a few minutes to fix these problems, old chum!

Thanks,
Cliff.

I fixed the rating history page. As far as the main page goes, define 'narrow'. It is a little bit less wide than it used to be, but the only big change is that the two sidebars are centered next to the main content rather than all the way to the edge of the window. That was done mainly for aesthetics rather than out of necessity for mobile devices. There's going to be some 'growing pains' trying to retrofit the site to work on mobile devices, but the plan is to leave the desktop/large device experience pretty much the same, though there will be places I deliberately try to make improvements.

Thanks for the fast response, Greg.

I'll check the 'Rating Page' out again in a few minutes, and as far as the 'narrower' main page goes, well...
I'm more than happy to learn to live with it!

Thanks,
- Cliff

Frankly ......
Abiodun is more concerned about refutations to The Berlin Defense,
than what our Illustrious Site Administrator Wizard Greg might be doing lately,
as He Sprinkles some enhancements here for our betterment ! ! !

So now ..... after 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 Nf6 ....... which way do you guys choose
to fight against This Berlin Wall ... My Favorite Defense ! ? ! ?

:D :?: :?: :D
