Game at Queen Odds.

Post by eespiritu » Sun Jun 01, 2008 11:56 pm

Just for kicks, I want to offer a game at Queen odds. I get a san error with these sets of opening moves:
1. Nf3 Nf6 2. Ne5 Ne4 3. Nc6 Nc3 4. Ne5 Nd1 5. Ng6 Ne3 6. Ne5 Nf5 7. Nf3 Nh6 8. Ng1 Ng8
1. Nf3 Nf6 2. Ne5 Ne4 3. Nc6 Nc3 4. Ne5 Nxd1 5. Ng6 Ne3 6. Ne5 Nf5 7. Nf3 Nh6 8. Ng1 Ng8

These moves are equivalent to the standard instruction: remove white's queen. It will be white's move and there is no white Queen on the board.

The difference is black's move 5 Nxd1 vs. Nd1. I've read the SAN faq. Anybody tried this successfully?

PS.

I understand that the interface will do the opening moves. I will offer two games and resign the side with the Queen. Unrated, should be fun.

Enter the moves without the move numbers in front of them. Or at least without a space between the period and the move notation:
Nf3 Nf6 Ne5 Ne4 Nc6 Nc3 Ne5 Nd1 Ng6 Ne3 Ne5 Nf5 Nf3 Nh6 Ng1 Ng8

or

1.Nf3 Nf6 2.Ne5 Ne4 3.Nc6 Nc3 4.Ne5 Nd1 5.Ng6 Ne3 6.Ne5 Nf5 7.Nf3 Nh6 8.Ng1 Ng8
