Why doesn't my rating change?

Why doesn't your rating change when you complete a game? How do you get your rating to change. I tried emailing administration on this several times but no response.

Your rating does not change till you complete game eight. Until you complete 20 games your rating can change by large amounts as your rating is provisional. You have only finished 6 games so just 2 to go for that rating to change.

Also if you win because your opponent timed out before making 10 moves you won't be scored a win for that game (your opponent will be scored a loss though).
